North End and Reading have contested some cracking games in recent history and we hope this evening will be no different when Brendan Rodgers' team visit Deepdale.
The Royals and Ipswich have had surprisingly slow starts to the new campaign but as the old saying goes, it's a marathon and not a sprint, so North End should be aware of any 'kick on' Reading produce this evening.
Tickets are still on sale until kick-off for tonight's game so make sure you don't miss out on the opportunity to support the team as we bid to maintain our excellent start to the season.

Gaffer's News
"It's always been a consideration to keep the same eleven when we've played well this season and it's the easy thing to do but I'm looking at Reading, and their strengths and weaknesses and I'll pick the team according to what I see. Obviously you hope that the team you put out is one which is capable of giving Reading the maximum number of problems, so I'll pick that team on that basis, not on the basis of the way we won or lost the last game.
"I don't know how much more we can do to make sure the supporters are entertained and make sure they get behind us, they're good for us anyway, I hope they'll help us through if we need their help with a bit of luck we'll be able to entertain them and we can enjoy the game. There are times when we might be up against it in the games and they can help us through those difficult times."
The Opposition Manager's View
"The mood is very good, there's always disappointment after a game but always you have to let go. We've a strong mentality and a strong spirit. They're all tough games and Preston is a notoriously tough place to go but we go there with a great motivation to win.
"We've played well in a lot games and in particular have started well. The best teams start quick and finish strong. At the moment when we're chasing games we do well but when we go in front we seem to wait. We must keep playing our football and that will be good enough on most occasions. It's just a little percentage we're missing."

Opposition Player's View
"I've played for a few Clubs in the Championship and usually we've done pretty well. I believe we can do that at Reading. We've got a strong team we've just got to start winning. I know this league and everybody can beat everybody. I believe it's up to us, if we are playing the best we can, I know we can win."
