For the visit of Middlesbrough at Deepdale this Saturday, Preston North End are offering fans the ultimate matchday experience in The Great Room and The Invincibles Lounge.
If you are looking for some light entertainment and great hospitality on Saturday, then The Great Room is the suite for you. Fans in our premier hospitality suite will be brought to tears when guest host, Rock FMs Adam Catterall, presents to you the comical stylings of the hilarious Lea Roberts.
Lea Roberts, who is an ex-Rugby league player for Halifax, is renound for his traditional northern humour but with a more modern approach, guaranteed to amuse audiences young and old.
In our Invincibles Lounge, fans will be joined by two members of North End's 1986/87 promotion winning side. Guest matchday host Simon Crabtree will present the special guest speakers for the day, ex-Preston players Oshor Williams and Ronnie Hildersley.
Williams joined North End in 1986 scoring ten goals in his first season at Deepdale. Unfortunately Williams playing career was cut short through injury but the ex-winger remained at the club for the next three years in the role of community development officer.
Hildersley also joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 1986 and appeared 33 times in the league for Preston. Both of these players featured regularly in midfield for the side that John McGrath led to promotion from the old division four so they are guaranteed to delight North Ender's with stories from their time at the club. 'Rocket Ronnie's' finest moment was his 25-yard strike that knocked Saturday's visitors Boro out of the FA Cup in the 1986 season, a goal that will feature heavily in Saturday's matchday programme.
