The England Skipper In The One And Only!

The One And Only has already had some big interviews so far this season, but the next few matches get even bigger and they don't get much larger than 6'6" England rugby union skipper Steve Borthwick.
As we discovered, he's a massive North Ender and he talks about his passion for the Club and his admiration for professional footballers fitness and abilities.
In the guest editor's chair this weekend is North End's Scottish midfielder Barry Nicholson, as he takes time from his rehabilitation to talk about the injury, our visitors from South London and even about rugby.
We have our normal plethora of guest columnists, including Angus Loughran, Eddie Wolstenholme, Neil Mellor, Conor McLaughlin, Gemma Watson, the Lancashire Evening Post's Dave Seddon and Martin Atherton's great player is Invincibles legend Bob Holmes.
The manager also gives his views on the game and talks about the atmosphere at Deepdale for the thrilling Middlesbrough clash a week ago: "The atmosphere last Saturday was fantastic," he tells The One And Only. "Everybody noticed it. The players talked about it, the staff talked about it and it was probably the best atmosphere generated by our supporters this season.
"We would love to think that that was the kind of support we will get week in, week out. I have said many times, that it is a partnership. We have to try and give the fans something to cheer about as much as we possibly can and if we are able to do that, then we will be very happy - that is the ideal situation. However, there are times when we need the fans to help us through a sticky spell and they did that last weekend and they played their part in us getting the result we got."
You can read more from the gaffer and our other columnists as well as our latest 'Skill School' trick to learn and 12 pages on the visitors, including a double page interview with the man who used to clean the boots of Alan Irvine in his Palace days; John Salako.
You can pre-order your programme online at MyPNE.Com and they will be on sale from Saturday morning from the Deepdale shop, ticket office and from sellers around and inside the ground on matchday… so don't miss out on another bumper edition.
