PNE have slashed the prices for the two pre-Christmas home games against Derby County and Plymouth Argyle with supporters able to come to both games for the price of just one of them!

The fixtures come in close succession just two weeks before the holiday, with Nigel Clough's Rams here tonight Tuesday 8th December and Argyle making the long trip north four days later this Saturday.

General manager Ben Rhodes said: "Even without the current economic climate, Christmas is a stretching financial period for all of our supporters and with two home games in close succession we felt that we should try and ease some of that burden and also give the players the opportunity to be backed by a significantly increased crowd.

"Our regular support is fantastic and we are grateful for their continued backing, but many people have recognised that it has been tough to increase that regular figure by significant numbers, however, this offer is the one of the biggest reductions we have ever done for two games and we hope it will afford many fans the opportunity to come and see Alan Irvine's side in action."

Manager Alan Irvine added: "I have said before that the relationship between the fans and the players is a partnership and if we can get more people inside Deepdale then hopefully we can encourage them to get behind us and they can encourage us to perform at the highest level we can."

The offer is open to adults, senior citizens and young adults and whilst both games have been on sale for a short period already, those supporters who have already purchased a ticket for either game can come in and get a ticket for the other game free of charge, whilst if you have bought both, you can get a refund.

This means that adults on the Town End or Kop can watch the games for just £10 each; £6 if you're a young adult or senior citizen or watch from a Premium seat in the Sir Tom Finney Stand or Invincibles Pavilion for just £13.50!

"The team have had a good start to the season and already have more points than they did at the same stage last season. The division is so tight and if we can get an extra few thousand in for these two games and really generate an intimidating atmosphere, then it could further assist our promotion push," added Rhodes.

The offer is on sale now from the ticket office at Deepdale.

Please note that the offer is not available at the cash turnstiles in operation on the Kop.
