Media Editor

Preston North End are looking for a hard-working, creative, football mad media editor to work in the Club's media department.

Reporting to the media manager, your principal responsibility will be the production of video content for the Club's online video channel, PNE Player.

You will be expected to produce exciting, original and imaginative content on a daily basis, interviewing the football club's personalities before editing the packages and publishing them on the internet.

The role will also see you working on the club's other media channels including the official website pne.com and the matchday programme 'The One and Only'.

Successful applicants will have a good all-round knowledge of new media but key attributes include:

- Knowledge and experience of using video editing software including Adobe Premiere
- Experience of using content management systems
- Basic understanding of html and web design
- An ability to write clear, concise and interesting copy to tight deadlines

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or anyone hoping to get a first start in the exciting and fast paced world of a football club's media department. All applicants must be able to demonstrate examples of previous work they have undertaken either in video, online or written media.
