105/1 For Parkin to Score First In 3-1 Win

Its back to Deepdale and the end to a hectic February fixture list as Preston North End entertain Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

The Lilywhites have endured four midweek and four weekend games since the end of January and Darren Ferguson will have been glad for a full week's training with his squad ahead of the visit of the Bluebirds.

But it doesn't get much easier for North End who face a City side who are currently occupying the final Play-Off spot.

pnebetting.com predicts that this game will be a tight one and can't pick between the two side, with North End and Cardiff both at odds of 13/8 to win the game with a draw at 9/4.

In the last six games in which North End have scored, Danny Welbeck, Jon Parkin, Chris Brown or Neil Mellor has scored in these games. If you fancy one of the strikers to score again, you can find the following odds on them scoring at anytime; Parkin at 2/1, Welbeck at 15/8, Brown at 15/8, and Mellor at 7/4.

Here is a list of other bets to mull over;
- 2-1 PNE at 17/2.
- Draw at half time in Preston victory is at 5/1.
- 14/1 for Matt James to score first or last.
- Tongue in cheek bet - a repeat of last season's 6-0 victory at 400/1.

Our bet of the week is 105/1 for Parkin to score first in a 3-1 victory. Preston have scored under two goals at home to Cardiff on only two occasions since 1988 and there is something about this fixture that often delivers goals. Parkin could be a good shout for first goalscorer as the striker is looking in fine form for North End alongside of Welbeck.
