Deepdale was the venue for a special FA presentation in which five local Clubs received the FA Charter Standard Award.
The presentation was taken place on the pitch before Preston North End's league match with Cardiff City and the recipients of the award were local Clubs BAC/EE Preston JFC, Ripon Reds JFC, Kirkham JFC, Euxton Girls and Lostock Hall JFC.
Each team were presented with a Club plaque and certificate, use of the FA Charter Standard Crest, access to kit and equipment grants and much more.

This award recognises good football practise at grassroots level and it is assessed by how safe and enjoyable football is for those who are participating in the teams.
Clubs that have been awarded as a Charter Standard Club are in place to help children play football in a safe and enjoyable environment, encourage youngsters to play football and develop their skills further.
