Voting is open for the 2010 Player of the Year Awards, to be announced at a glittering ceremony at the end of April. We are looking for your votes for three award categories to be presented at Deepdale next month.
We want to know your choice for the official Player of the Year; your goal of the season and your community icon of the year.
Player of the Year is obvious, we want your choice for the player that has given the most, made the biggest impact and has really made their mark on the 2010 season. Last year was a really close call with Jon Parkin pipping Sean St. Ledger and Andy Lonergan for the award and these three will again no doubt garner plenty of support.
The goal of the season is a more difficult choice this season, with some fabulous strikes to go at including Paul Parry at Barnsley, Jon Parkin versus Colchester, Welbeck versus Ipswich and Brown's delightful chip against Cardiff City.
We have created a freeview of every single goal a PNE player has scored in league or cup this season and you can view this by clicking on the freeview box on the home page on the website, which should help you decide your choice. After the first week of voting we will narrow this category down to a shortlist of six.
Our final category is community icon. This is an award for a player who has gone 'above and beyond' in their efforts for the Club this season, whether it be player appearances, work with junior supporters or just generally promoting the Club in a positive light, we want to know about it.
To vote, all you have to do is send us an email. Title the email POTY 2010 and give us your choices for the three awards and send it to enquiries@pne.com.
Tickets are now on sale for what is always a glittering event. This year it takes place on Wednesday 28th April, and this year it will beginning with a special drinks reception, followed by a great evening of entertainment, food and the presentations themselves.
The event is open to all, from individuals, to parties of ten or more and all the players, staff and board will be in attendance to honour the efforts of the team during the 2009/2010 season.
