Preston North End travel to high-flying West Brom on the back of an unbeaten five game run after drawing three and winning two.
Darren Ferguson's men have picked up nine points out of a possible 15 but the Gaffer has insisted his team were unlucky not to come away with maximum points.
The last three games have all been on home soil where the Whites have welcomed back two former manager to Deepdale but will now be looking for points on their travels.
The trip to The Hawthorns marks the first of two difficult away games in the space of five days seeing North End travel to Middlesbrough next Tuesday evening.
North End go into the tie sitting in 13th place in the Championship table on 48 points, seven points off the final play-off spot occupied by Cardiff City.
Preston have only won one on the road under Ferguson, against his former club Peterborough, but will be looking to set the record straight against second placed Albion.
The last time the two sides met was in October where neither team could break the deadlock resulting in a stalemate which was shown live on Sky.

Gaffer's Views
"West Brom have been, in the main, really consistent all season. We know it's going to be a difficult game but we go there with an element of confidence. Our last two games against teams in the top have seen us win both against Cardiff and Forest.
"We should have won on Tuesday and in all fairness could have won our last five - that's the frustrating thing. But we will go there and give them a good game.
"Youl Mawene is 50/50 and Tom Williams is another big doubt but apart from that everyone is going to be ok.
The Opposition
The Baggies are currently sitting in second place in the Championship table on 72 points, four points behind league leaders Newcastle United but eight ahead of Billy Davies' Nottingham Forest who the Whites bat 3-2 at Deepdale last week.
Preston are only one of four Championship teams who have stopped West Brom from finding the net so far this campaign after the Midland's side have netted 73 times.
Their staggering total of goals scored puts Roberto Di Matteo's team at the top of the league in that category and only Newcastle have scored more goals at home.
One plus for Ferguson's men is that West Brom have lost four games on home soil which is only one less than Scunthorpe who currently loiter just inside the drop zone.
Reading have scored the most goal down at the Albion putting three past the Baggies in the FA Cup fifth round replay.
West Brom's biggest wins of the season were two 5-0 thrashings of Middlesbrough and Watford but despite sitting 24 points ahead of Preston there should be a good game in store come three O'clock Saturday afternoon.
Opposition Manager
"We've just got to concentrate on ourselves because we know, if we put on a good performance, we are capable of beating any team in this league.
"So hopefully we can go out with the same sort of mindset we've shown in the last three games and hopefully come away with the three points.
"At home we should really be the ones to fear. We're not supposed to fear them, they're supposed to fear us and if we go into that game with that mindset hopefully we can get three points from it.
"We don't want to be getting defensive. We're an attacking team and we have scored lots of goals from all over the squad.
"Defenders, strikers and midfielders have all scored so hopefully we can just play the way we play and not focus on anybody else, because we've got a great chance of being in the Premier League next season.
"I did snatch at a few chances when I first came back from injury, but it's all about getting into the swing of things.
"This is a hard league and it's so physical, because there are so many games. I know I will get chances, it's just a matter of whether it goes in or not and luckily at the moment they're going in.
"Hopefully I can keep going and get to the destination that I feel my career is going and where my ability can take me to."
Ishmael Miller talks to the Midland's Express & Star ahead of the Lilywhite's trip to the Hawthorns.

Opposition Player
"I'm not expecting Jonas [Olsson], Steven [Reid] or Roman [Bednar] to be back for Saturday.
"Steven's not got a bad injury but he played three games in seven days and I don't think he's played that many games in a short space of time for years.
"I think the sheer volume of games in such a short space of time just increases the risk of injuries.
"Roman will be out for a couple of weeks. Jerome is getting better and we'll assess him today.
"[Andy] Slory has had a death in the family and has had to go back to Surinam for the funeral. He is due back tonight and will be in contention for Saturday."
"[On the loan market] We'll have to see how our injuries are. If everyone was fit then I'd be happy with our squad. We'll have to see our situation when the deadline comes."
Roberto Di Matteo shared his injury news ahead of Saturday's game with West Bromwich Albion's official website.

Surprisingly the two clubs met each other a staggering 26 times before the turn of the 20th Century and in the 1894/95 season North End won 5-0 and 5-4. These are only two examples out of five where the Lilywhite's have put five goals past West Brom.
