Stagecoach have generously announced that they will waive the normal £2 Footyrider return fare to Deepdale for any supporters attending this Thursday's Open Training Day, meaning that travel to the stadium from within the city will be free on their extensive bus network.
The Open Training Day, which was a big hit last summer, returns on Thursday 29th July, with the Invincibles Pavilion turnstiles opening at 10am.
And you can head along to enjoy the day out without having to put your hand in your pocket, with Stagecoach's free travel complimenting the free admission to the event.
To qualify for the free Footyrider travel, simply present your MyPNE membership card or your season ticket for the coming season on any Stagecoach bus service within the city.

Supporters that take the chance to head on down to the stadium can look forward to a full packed day of activities, including:
- A full length first team training session led by Darren Ferguson's coaching team
- Chance to secure autographs from your favourite PNE stars
- Entertainment and music via the big screen and PA system
- Test your skills and win prizes in football-related games
- Your chance to meet popular PNE mascot Deepdale Duck
- Concourse catering and merchandise stalls
- PNE giveaways and prizes
- Club Shop discount of 20% on all items except replica kit
- Discounts on matchday hospitality bookings
- Plus many more activities still to be announced
The gates will open at 10am on the day, with training expected to commence around 10.30am. The training session is likely to be concluded around 12.30pm, with activities continuing into the early afternoon to satisfy demand on the day.
Access will be via the turnstiles at the southern end of the Invincibles Pavilion, adjacent to the Invincibles Pavilion ticket office.
PNE marketing manager Adrian Ward explained:
"We are delighted that Stagecoach have agreed to offer free travel on Footyrider routes for this event, and it's a testimony to the excellent relationship that PNE and Stagecoach continue to enjoy.
"Hopefully the vast majority of our supporters will take the chance to leave their car at home and jump on the bus, knowing that it will cut out any cost involved with attending the Open Training Day and bring them right to the doorstep of the stadium.
"This promotion benefits all Prestonians looking to attend and enjoy this event, and also the various organisations based within Deepdale, as this is a normal working day for them and we hope we can minimise the disruption they'll experience on the day."
Any supporters who decide not to benefit from Stagecoach's free travel offer and opt to drive to Deepdale are requested not to park on the Invincibles Pavilion Car Park, as space in this area is required for the Minerva Centre's patients. Parking will be available in all other Club car parks within the stadium perimeters.
