Preston North End chairman Maurice Lindsay says he is dreadfully disappointed for the fans and everybody at the Club following the side's relegation to League One.

Despite relegation, Lindsay was quick to note that facts are facts and we have now got to look towards next season and establishing a team to get back into the Championship.

The chairman pointed out the importance of signing players who will wear the shirt with pride and will be prepared to work from the first minute of the season right the way through until the end.
