Well the YNE's certainly did!
On Wednesday 30th March, the YNE's held an Easter Fun Day in PNEshop.com with special guests and YNE favourites, Graham Alexander and Richard Cresswell.
The day started out with Graham and Richard signing autographs and having their picture taken with some very excited YNE's! And while the boys were signing autographs there was a special treasure hunt in the shop!
YNE's along with their parents searched around the shop for hidden Easter bunnies and under each Easter bunny was a PNE player. After a long search the YNE's completed the hunt, finding all ten Easter bunnies and naming all ten players. Out of over 30 teams Dominic Rainford, aged 8 was picked out as the overall winner and received an Easter egg as his prize!
After the treasure hunt the YNE's played other fun games such as 16 0's in A P (16 ounces in a pound) game where you have to complete the sentence just with a few letters as clues, which Jacob and Lydia Swanson aged 11 & 9 won.
Other games played were a general knowledge football quiz which Alex Tickle aged 7 won and a very difficult word search game which was won by Holly Mawdesley aged 6. Each YNE's received a cream egg each as a prize for completing each game.
The main activity though was egg decorating.

As you can imagine there was a lot of mess but it was worth it as the YNE's showed their creative side and made some excellent painted eggs! After judging long and hard Simon Davey, PNE's Youth Team Manager and former PNE star player chose Courtney Parkinson's 'Courtney the Cat' egg as the overall winner, with Liam Slater's 'Court Jester' coming second and Thomas Harris' 'Dave Nugent gentry celebration at Watford' egg in third place.
YNE staff would like to thank Graham Alexander, Richard Cresswell and Simon Davey for guest appearing and would also like to congratulate all the winners and thank everyone for turning out at PNEshop.com and making it a really fun and egg-citing day!
