Thorsten Stuckmann is a 30-year-old German goalkeeper who has joined Preston on a short term deal.
The 6'6" giant, who impressed during a summer trial at the club will wear the number one jersey.
The Gutersloh born keeper made 82 appearances for Alemannia Aachen between 2007-2011 and has previously played for Eintracht Braunschweig and SC Preussen Munster.
Stuckmann made his debut as a trialist - and saved a penalty in a pre season victory over Morecambe and made his competitive debut against Rochdale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
