Another deadline day signing, Keith Treacy arrived at Deepdale from Blackburn in February 2010 on the same day as Paul Coutts.
He made a string of substitute appearances for PNE before forcing his way into the manager's plans with a man of the match performance away at Crystal Palace. He followed this up with a stoppage time winner at home to Scunthorpe that helped to secure Preston's Championship status for another season.
A pacey and tricky left footed winger, Treacy can play on either flank, producing quality crosses with either foot. Eddie Nolan's former room mate at Blackburn finished the 2009-2010 season strongly, and fans will be eager to see more of this exciting prospect.
Although he learned his trade at Blackburn, the Dublin-born youngster spent spells on loan at Stockport County as well as part of last season on loan to Sheffield United in the Championship. Whilst there he managed to get on the score sheet against Leicester City in a 1-1 draw.
Treacy has also picked up three Republic of Ireland U21 caps in his short career, and will be looking to follow in Sean St. Ledger's footsteps by winning a full cap in the coming years.
