Republic of Ireland U21 international Keith Treacy signed for Preston North End with Paul Coutts on February 1st 2010.
The winger signed a two and a half year deal at Deepdale and will be looking to establish himself further in the Championship after a previous loan spell with Sheffield United.
Born in Dublin, the Irishman is a former roommate of teammate Eddie Nolan from their Blackburn Rovers days and will hope to emulate Nolan by being selected for the full Irish squad.
Treacy made 22 appearances for the Ewood Park team after signing professional terms in 2005 and was loaned out to Stockport County in 2007. The left-footed winger, who can play on either flank, has a reputation for being a speedy and skilful wideman who possesses a dangerous cross.
At Brammall Lane Treacy scored once in 16 appearances and the Irishman has also won three caps for the Irish under 21 set-up.
