Paul Coutts signed for Preston North End on deadline day in February 2010 after a prolonged chase by his former Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson.
The central midfielder signed a three and a half year deal at Preston North End and is known for liking to get the ball on the floor and producing energetic performances in the middle of the park.
Ferguson signed the former Aberdeen youth player from Cove Rangers ahead of the 2008/09 season and the Scotsman proved to be a key component of Posh's promotion-winning campaign that year.
Coutts has been selected for the Scotland Under 21s and won the Highland League Player of the Year award in 2008 after winning the Highland League Championship with Cove.
