This talented winger is an exciting prospect at Preston, coming through the youth system to make his debut in the 2009-2010 season as a substitute away at Bristol City in January 2010.
Since signing professionally in December 2008, Mayor has become known as an exciting and tricky winger, with lightning pace and someone who is not afraid to take on a defender or two.
His name has been on the lips of many PNE fans for a while, thanks to many stunning displays for the reserve team, and they will feel justified as he continues to improve and impress.
After a brief spell on emergency loan with Tranmere in 2009, Mayor returned to Preston, and even came off the bench to play against Chelsea in an FA Cup Fourth Round tie at Deepdale in January 2010.
Towards the end of the season, Mayor's performances earned him a starting role in the final four games of the season.
Leyland-born, Danny played a big part from the substitute bench last season, coming off 16 times and starting five games in total in the Championship.
Mayor is tipped to set League One alight next season, and with his frightening pace he will be a full backs worse nightmare.
