Danny Mayor is another product of the North End youth system after signing a two-and-a-half year deal with the Club in December 2008.
Born in Leyland, the winger has impressed since signing on professional terms with the Lilywhites, putting in some eye catching performances for the reserve team.
Mayor is quickly building a reputation for being an energetic and pacy winger with the ability to take on defenders and deliver quality crosses.
The midfielder's first taste of the Football League came in March 2009 after the winger made three appearances for Tranmere Rovers during a one month emergency loan at Prenton Park.
After making it on to the substitute's bench for the Lilywhites' FA Cup third round tie against Colchester United on the 3rd of January, Mayor was handed his debut away at Bristol City the following game by Darren Ferguson, coming on for the last twenty minutes at Ashton Gate.
Mayor made his home debut for Preston against Chelsea a week later, coming off of the bench to replace right midfielder Chris Sedgwick.
