A promising young defender, Collins missed the majority of the 2009-2010 season through injury.
He made a return to action for the reserves towards the end of the season, and will be hoping to continue his recovery in the new campaign.
Crawley Town took him on loan in September 2009 to gain some vital experience, and he still has a contract running up to 2011.
Collins is a big strong centre back, assured both on the ball and in the air, providing PNE with a physical presence in defence. He is also a threat at set pieces with his aerial ability.
Former manager Paul Simpson chose to take the youngster on a pre-season tour of the USA in 2007, aged just 16. He clearly impressed Simpson, and is definitely one to look out for in the future.
