Preston Supporters Group
Preston Supporters Group was formed in 1999/00 following the realisation that Preston North End no longer had an independent supporters group.
We thought then, and still do, that all clubs need a supporters' group that is not accountable to anyone at the club they support.
Some people don't agree with the idea of being "independent" and because of this it took a long time for PSG to be accepted. In some quarters we still aren't today, but we soldier on presenting a mouth piece for PNE fans whether they are PSG members or otherwise.
Preston Supporters Group is steadfast in its support of Preston North End. We are, and always will be, supportive of anything that brings improvement and the prospect of success to our Football Club.
Manager Phil Brown and his assistant Brian Horton are doing their utmost to improve performances on the pitch and in the long term we are certain that they will succeed. We give them our full support and are sure that they are the ones to get our club back on the right track.
Good luck to everyone at Deepdale for it is on you that we the fans look for the success that we all crave.
2011/12 is our 12th year of existence and from a humble beginning when we had around 30/40 members we now have over 350.
Thanks to everyone who supports us in our efforts to support Preston North End.

PSG Chairman
Committee member John Kelly explains more...
Over the past 12 months PSG have been working alongside the club on supporters initiatives including:
• A bi-annual charity football match were supporters get together pre-season to raise funds for our nominated charity St Catherine's Hospice.
• Organising the annual 'Gentry Day', for all PNE supporters to don their bowler hats in tribute to all Preston supporters who have passed away in the last 12 months.
• The new supporters' flag area on the Invincibles Pavilion at Deepdale, giving supporters a unique chance to show their support for the club.
• Taking an active role in the organising the PNE Burial Procession in Bamber Bridge.
• Successful PNE & PSG 'on the road' fans forums with the chairman and management of the football club, reaching out to supporters from outside the Preston area.
• A football match in aid of the Gary Parkinson trust fund.
• Helping in the promotion of PNE match day events, PNE Days, ticket deals and helping to promote the sale of season tickets via our many internet contacts.
• Helping supporters with issues or complaints to get an active response and outcome with the football club.
PSG also have a hugely successful and independent travel club, which offers supporters an alternative to the clubs official coach travel, often offering refreshment stops on the way to the matches.
