PNE WFC battled hard against Skelmersdale but the league leaders Liverpool LFC had too much firepower for the North End ladies and they fell to a defeat.

The home team took a three goal lead into half-time and even though the PNE women fought hard in the second half they couldn't overturn the deficit and ended up losing by four goals to nil.
