A devastating second half display ensured that Preston's women comfortably beat Luton Town Ladies 7-1 at Preston Sports Arena.
North End fell behind in the first ten minutes through Levanna Betts but Alison Taberner and Sarah Walker ensured that the Lilywhites went into the break on top.
Then a second half brace from Gemma Watson and a further three goals from Walker ensured that Chris Stammers' side recorded another high scoring victory.
Preston started the game sluggishly with Luton setting the pace from the early on. The visitors were closing to breaking the deadlock in the early stages but Watson managed to header the ball off of the line, much to the relief of her team mates.
The in the tenth minute, Luton managed to make the most of their continued pressure when the unmarked Betts rose to head in a corner.
This goal seemed to spark North End into life who then started to show more composure on the ball and began to boss the game. Stammers' side got their reward in the 30th minute when Taberner drove her free-kick into the top corner, leaving the Luton goalkeeper with absolutely no chance.
Preston continued to play the more fluent football with Sam Cadwallader and Hannah Bailey proving to be a constant threat with their pace. North End were finally rewarded in the 41st minute when good build up play found Bailey who managed to outpace the Luton left back and deliver a perfect pass to Walker who calmly volleyed past the Luton keeper.
The second half was a totally one sided affair with North End finding the back of the net five more times. Watson started the tirade of second half goals in the 50th minute which was followed by another goal by the playmaker and three more goals by player of the match Walker.
Preston travel to Curzon Ashton next week where they will be hoping to avenge their 3-1 defeat earlier in the season.
