Preston striker Jon Parkin was awarded Young North Enders Junior Supporters Club Player of the Year after the Scunthorpe United game, pipping two other North End stars to the coveted price.
"The Beast" as he is affectionally known follows in the footsteps of previous winners Sean. St. Ledger, Matt Hill, David Nugent and Graham Alexander who scooped the prize in its first two years.
The votes which have been cast over the season were calculated at the QPR and Watford games as the young Preston supporters recognised Parkin as their most outstanding player of the season.

As well as Parkin, Keith Treacy, Paul Coutts, Wayne Henderson, Chris Brown and Billy Jones were on hand to sign autographs for the youngsters who were also treated to a visit by the Deepdale Duck and entertainment by Mr Jolly.

We would like to say a special thank you to all of the YNE staff who have done a terrific job throughout the season.
