Preston North End Community and Education Trust is hosting a free girls talent ID inclusion event for girls aged 13 to 14-years-old on Wednesday 1st June.
The event, which will be delivered in partnership with the EFL Trust, provides girls with the opportunity to be signposted to the England Talent ID Pathway.
The England Talent ID Pathway provides potential routes for girls to represent England's junior national teams.
Talent spotters will be in attendance at the event which will be held at Christ the King Catholic High School in Preston from 12 noon until 3pm.
Parents or guardians wishing to register their child for the event can do so by visiting pne.com/discovermytalent.
Players will be put in pre-arranged teams and will meet their team-mates on the day. Girls will play approximately seven to eight-minute games over the two hours of delivery, with talent-spotters watching all the players throughout the event.
No players will be informed of whether they have been selected for the talent pathway until at least one day after the event. Players will receive an email after the event.
We want players to enjoy the experience and express themselves without any sense of pressure.
