The traineeship at Preston North End Community and Education Trust is an education and training programme focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. 

The programme will see the trainee become a member of the team and experience work in various areas including administration, retail, youth work and coaching. The opportunity will include preparation training such as CV writing, Maths and English and support for those who require it in addition to a high quality work experience placement.

The traineeship is eligible to anyone aged 19 to 24-years-old and is qualified below level three (A Level). It is tailored to those who are currently not in a job with little or no work experience. 

As a PNE trainee, you can gain various work experience opportunities within a range of areas, including but not limited to:

  • General maintenance
  • Teaching and educational projects
  • Sports Coaching
  • Health fitness and leisure
  • Administration
  • Matchday activities 

Once you've completed the programme, you can expect a guaranteed reference and an enhanced CV, increasing your employability, particular in the football industry.
