Luton Town v Preston North End Match Preview

12 March 2020

Preston North End take a trip south this weekend, looking to return with three more points, with the task to try and beat Graeme Jones’ Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

It is the Lilywhites’ first visit to the stadium since 2006 and they are looking for their first win against the Hatters on their own turf since a David Eyres double did the trick in late 1999.

Both sides will be battling for the points in their own personal fights going on at present, with PNE aware that a win will keep them in the top six heading into a week that includes back-to-back home games.

It is yet another sell-out away following that will be backing Alex Neil and his team, with the 1,00-plus tickets going within days of going on sale, meaning a good atmosphere should be guaranteed.

Despite defeats to the teams placed first and third in the last two away games, form on the road had been positive prior to that, going six unbeaten, winning the last three and a return to that sort of form will be what is hoped for the weekend.
