Graham Westley’s side kicked off this week with a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday and treated the PNE faithful to a top performance on the pitch, which included a spectacular curling strike from Jeffrey Monakana as he scored his first professional goal.
It promises to be an exciting encounter as Preston’s opponents Swindon also progressed into the next round of the cup, beating Stoke City 4-3 in extra time.
