Preston North End will play their final pre-season friendly in Devon on Wednesday night as they travel to face Plymouth Argyle.
The clash in the south west will round off a successful pre-season programme for the Lilywhites, and will provide another chance for the new look PNE squad to travel together following last week’s trip to AFC Wimbledon.
North End head into the game off the back of an encouraging performance against Leeds United on Saturday as John Mousinho scored his first goal for the Club.
Meanwhile hosts Plymouth will be looking for a quick response in front of their home support following a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Birmingham City last weekend.
Team News
Injured pair David Amoo and Andy Procter will be assessed by the Club’s medical department before being considered for selection ahead of Wednesday’s match.
With Lee Trundle remaining the only long term absentee, manager Graham Westley has no new injury concerns ahead of the game following John Welsh’s return to action against Leeds.
