Keith Keane spoke to PNE Player following the win over AFC Wimbledon and said their was tangible progress being made by the team.
The new No.2 played the majority of the game at the Cherry Red Records Fans' Stadium as Graham Westley's men ran out comfortable 4-1 winners and the former Luton man told the online video site the team are working hard.
"We still have a lot of work to do but we are slowly progressing," he told Player.
"We are playing like a team and working like a team and the lads are all together. Everyone the gaffer has brought in has ability, but they also put the work in and if we continue to do that then the ability will take over in the games."
