Shane Cansdell-Sherriff will return to Greenhous Meadow on Tuesday night just a few short weeks after moving to Deepdale.
The Aussie defender moved from the Shrews during the summer hiatus, but gets an early return to the side he enjoyed success with in 2011/12, gaining the promotion that sets up this early season clash.Speaking to PNE Player ahead of the clash with the Shropshire side, the North End No.6 told the online video channel that he was looking forward to going back.
"It's pretty unusual to go back so early in the season, but it will be good," he said. "I spent four years there and got promotion with them and I am looking forward to going back and seeing a few old faces."
