Beavon: We Owe The Fans A Response

31 December 2012

PNE.Com speaks to striker Stuart Beavon ahead of the first game of 2013.

If you are travelling to the game, the Club would like to remind supporters that they can purchase tickets on the day of the game at Victoria Park.

“There are still plenty of points to play for and the boys are confident we will start putting the wins back on the board.”

“We keep on talking but we need to kick on, it is time now. The table is still so tight but it is time to kick on, stop talking and get back up there.

“We understand that the fans want the Club to win every single game. They pay their money to come and support the team every week and they deserve a better performance than we put on.  It is down to us to put on a better performance for them on Tuesday.

“We didn’t have a good day against Doncaster, we have all had our say after the game and we all know that we can do better. We need to kick on now and put things right because we owe the fans a response.

“The fans are massive and we need them to be with us, they always turn out in force to support the lads.

“We need to improve on our run at the minute and we are hoping to go to Victoria Park and put things right.

Beavon said: “I have played against Hartlepool before and scored quite a few goals against them. At the start of the season we played really well against Hartlepool.

Before training commenced the Lilywhites number 29 told the Club’s website time for talking has stopped and North End owe their fans a performance they would be proud of.

Beavon and his fellow North End team mates will travel up to the north east on Monday afternoon ahead of the clash at Victoria Park on New Year’s Day.
