The last time North End visited Coventry was in September 2010 winning 2-1 courtesy of goals from Billy Jones and Iain Hume.
However at home so far, Coventry have only won two matches, a record they will be looking to improve upon.
City, under new management this season with Mark Robins now at the helm, are in the bottom half of League One, but have started to make progress in recent weeks.
