McLaughlin Joins Fleetwood

20 July 2012

Conor McLaughlin has agreed a deal to join Fleetwood Town on a permanent basis

The Club would like to wish Conor all the best at Fleetwood and beyond.

He suffered an unfortunate leg break the following year, but returned to full fitness and went on to make 24 appearances for the Club, but spent the last two months of last season on loan at Shrewsbury Town.

The 21-year-old Belfast-born right back joined the Lilywhites as a scholar at 16 and progressed through to earn a professional contract in January 2010. He made his debut later that year, in a televised game against Hull City.

Conor McLaughlin has agreed a deal to join Fleetwood Town on a permanent basis. The Northern Irish international defender completed the move on Friday afternoon after talks were concluded between the two clubs and the player.
