Saturday 6th October, 3pm
Oldham Athletic v Preston North End
A third win in seven days will be the target set by Preston North End manager Graham Westley ahead of this weekend’s local derby against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
The Lilywhites have beaten Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers in the last week to put them in touching distance of the League One Play-Offs.
It is only five months ago since PNE last visited the Latics’ home, recording a 1-1 draw in their penultimate away game of the 2011/12 season. A win for Preston could see them end the day in second spot if results go their way.

The Latics
Like Preston, hosts Oldham Athletic will be brimming with confidence after their 2-0 win at Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night.
It was a first win in five for former Blackburn striker Paul Dickov with Athletic climbing away from the relegation zone.
Oldham, an established outfit in League One, have the likes of Matt Derbyshire and Lee Croft, both former Premier League players in their ranks in a squad populated with both potential and experience. Defender
Jean-Yves M'voto is rated a doubt with an ankle injury for the hosts.
