npower League One
Gigg Lane

Preston North End will return to league action this weekend when they make the 35 mile trip to Gigg Lane with neighbours Bury the opposition.

The Lilywhites are currently enjoying a good run of form, winning their last four matches in all competitions and head to Greater Manchester in a buoyant mood.

After a four day break after their 48-hour double header against Swindon Town and Carlisle United, Preston could cement their place in the top half of the table with victory over the Shakers.

Team News
Manager Graham Westley welcomed back John Mousinho and Joel Byrom to training on Thursday after the pair have been sidelined for the last few weeks.

Bailey Wright will be fit to play after suffering a concussion late on against Carlisle United on Tuesday night.

Lee Holmes and Lee Trundle remain the only two long term absentees.

The Shakers
Like Preston North End, Bury are currently in their second season in League One after consolidating their place in the division last season.

However the Shakers lost their manager Richie Barker to Crawley Town just before the season kicked off, and are now under the stewardship of caretaker boss Peter Shirtliff.

Shirtiff has been allowed by the Bury board to strengthen his squad, and in recent weeks recruited former PNE striker David Healy.

Still in search of their first win of the season, Bury will see Saturday’s match as a perfect opportunity to get their season underway by beating their north west rivals.

The Bury squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers
1 Carson 20 Dibble 31 Williams

Defenders
