PNE Player: Westley Wants More

8 September 2012

Manager Graham Westley spoke to PNE Player after the clash at Gigg Lane and was delighted with the three points, but wants more from his team.

The North End boss chatted with the Club's online TV and video channel and said the quality of the display was not what he expected. but was happy to be coming away with the Lilywhites' first away win of the season.

"I'm obviously please with the points," said the gaffer. "But I'm not pleased with the display. I thought our ball retention in the first half was poor and wasn't in any way as good as the way it has been. I thought we allowed them into the game too much and didn't resolve the problems they gave us.

"There are lessons to learn throughout the 90 minutes. We are all pleased to have the three points, but we all know we have to be better going forwards."
