Davies Extends Youth Loan Deal

16 August 2013

Ben Davies has extended his youth loan deal with League Two side York City until the 6th January.

The 18-year-old, who originally joined the Minstermen in July on a month-long deal, has appeared twice for Nigel Worthington’s side so far this season and can be recalled by PNE at 24 hours’ notice.

The defender made his North End debut last season in a 2-2 draw with Coventry City at Deepdale, setting up Nicky Wroe for a 60th minute equaliser.

Two further run-outs for the first team followed for the former youth team captain before an impressive pre-season under manager Simon Grayson.

Everyone at the Club would like to wish Ben all the best for his time with the Minstermen and look forward to his return in January.
