Shane Cansdell-Sherriff has extended his stay with Burton Albion until the end of the 2013/14 season.
The defender has been on loan at the Brewers since September and has made 17 starts for the Sky Bet League Two Club in that time.
Cansdell-Sherriff has become an integral part of Gary Rowett’s defence, helping them ascend to third in the league table with nine cleansheets secured in that time.
The Aussie signed for North End in the summer of 2012 and spent four months on loan at Rochdale last season before signing for Burton for the majority of the 2013/14 season.
