Special Soccer School Visitors

27 February 2013

The February half-term saw another hugely successful soccer school run by the Sir Tom Finney Foundation.

It took place at the indoor facilities at Playfootball.net (Formerly Tulketh High School), in Ingol, and saw five days of all-day sessions with well over 100 children enjoying the fun during the week.

On the Thursday afternoon the children were then joined by six special guests to hand out certificates of participation to all those who attended, with Bailey Wright, Jack King, Joe Garner, Andy Procter, Thorsten Stuckmann and Will Hayhurst all arriving at the venue to surprise the children.

Speaking about the week Sir Tom Finney Foundation manager Andy Haythornthwaite said: “It is great to have been able to see so many local children come to the soccer school this half-term.

“And it was even better to be able to see the look on their faces when six of the players took time to come down and spend some time with them. Our sessions run from 8.30am to 4.30pm, so are real value for money for parents during the school holidays as well as providing a safe and, most importantly, enjoyable environment for young fans to take part in.”

The details have already been announced for the next soccer school, which is running throughout the Easter Holidays, but you need to book fast, as there are only 72 spaces each day available! Registration and pick-up is held in the reception area next to the car park.

We’re offering over 80 hours of professional football coaching, supervision, fun and games and much more!

Running week days from Monday 1st to Friday 12th April 2013, with an 8.30am early drop-off to 4.30pm last pick-up, it is open for boys and girls aged four to 12 and is again taking place at Playfootball.net (Formerly Tulketh High School), Tag Lane, Ingol, PR2 3TX.

The cost of the soccer school is £15 per day, £55 for one week or just £99 for two weeks! Each child will receive a gift and a PNE certificate of participation with no repeat sessions! And as with the February event, there will be player appearances, subject to availability.

Each day, participants will be required to provide their own packed lunch, waterproof jacket, appropriate football attire, shin pads and Astroturf trainers.

Book for both weeks and save over £50!
