Connolly Joins On Loan

15 January 2013

Preston North End have taken Leeds United right back Paul Connolly on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 29-year-old joined the Whites from Derby in 2010, having spent much of his early career at Plymouth Argyle, where he was a team-mate of injured full back Scott Laird for a period.

The Liverpool-born man has already experienced League One football this season, with a spell on loan under Michael Appleton at Portsmouth back in August/September where he made four appearances.

His registration is for the rest of the season and he goes straight into the reckoning for the weekend’s trip to Yeovil Town, where, if selected, he will wear the No.15 shirt.
