Taylor Agrees Non-Contract Terms

13 January 2013

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Taylor has agreed non-contract terms at Deepdale.

The 22-year-old custodian was released by the European Champions in the summer, and has agreed to register with the Lilywhites after Steve Simonsen suffered an injury at Coventry on Thursday night.

The Welsh U21 international spent 2010/11 season on loan at Crewe where he was an ever present, likewise at Rotherham in the second half of last season.

He goes straight into the reckoning for North End’s Sunday Funday clash with Walsall and has been given the No.35 shirt.
