Former North End defender Ryan Kidd will partner Anthony Wareing to provide PNE Player's live commentary of the Lilywhites pre-season friendly against Liverpool.
The 41-year-old, who was recently selected to PNE’s All-time team, made over 250 appearances for the Club, in a nine year stint at Deepdale, and so is the perfect person to give an insight into the game from a Preston perspective.
The pair will be on air from 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon and will provide a live, play-by-play account of the clash for PNE Player subscribers.
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler will join forces with usual Player commentator Jonathan Breeze to provide the overseas broadcast.
The man affectionately known as ‘God’ among Kopites played 370 games for the Reds, scoring an incredible 184 goals in the process, making his opinion of Saturday’s events more-than qualified.
The commentary from Fowler and Jonathon will appear on the Club’s extended highlights package of the game next week.
