A brand new fantasy football league has been set up for PNE fans and players.
So far over 300 people have signed up, including North End stars Bailey Wright, Joel Byrom and summer signing Chris Humphrey.
Bailey Wright very generously offered a PNE shirt, signed by the entire squad, for the winner and then, given the unbelievable reaction, suggested prizes for second and third places could be arranged.
There is certainly the potential of more Lilywhites getting involved, meaning the competition will include a bit of banter between fans and players.
There is no limit on the number of entrants and the league is run by the FA Premier League website (fantasy.premierleague.com).

The game begins on the 17th August, and runs alongside the Premier League season.
Throughout the campaign updates will be posted on PNE-online including who is in the lead, who has had the highest scoring week and how the PNE players are doing. People should follow @pne_ff on twitter for these updates.
Interestingly enough, as of yesterday, 0.3% of all players had selected Declan Rudd for their team, despite him being loaned to North End for the season!
