Home And Away Shirts Revealed

10 July 2013

Preston North End is delighted to unveil its home and away shirt for the 2013/14 season.

The new kit, as revealed on Monday, will carry the Carers Trust logo on the front of the shirt, The Football Pools branding on the back and The SPACE Centre logo on the back of the team’s shorts.

The kit, manufactured by Nike, will be a very traditional white at home, whilst the away sees the return of a kit popularised in the 1970’s by Bobby Charlton’s team, with black and red stripes.

There will also be a third kit released at a later date, which will be yellow, with a royal blue sleeve.

The home kit, which will be worn for the first time by the home team against Liverpool in the Shankly Shield, at Deepdale on Saturday, will be on sale to the public on Friday 26th July from the Club’s ticket and retail store and online.

The away kit, will go on sale on Friday 9th August, ahead of the Lilywhites’ first away game of the season, with the third kit sale date to follow later in the year.

Speaking about the launch of the strip general manager Ben Rhodes said: “The biggest question we have been constantly asked this summer, is when can we see the new kit and when can we buy it? And now we can answer that question and hopefully the fans will like what Nike and the Club have come up with.

“The home kit is very traditional, in plain white, incorporating the special anniversary crest. The away kit has a collar and also includes the new badge, as well as has a solid black back to allow for the name and number to be visible when applied.”

All the kits are made using Nike’s ‘Dri-Fit’ technology and the short-sleeved versions will be priced at £42.50 for adults, £35 for juniors and £37 for extra-large boys.
