Former Lilywhites Brian O’Neil will partner Jonathan Breeze in PNE’s live commentary feed for Saturday’s game against Fleetwood Town.
The ex-North End midfielder spent three years at Deepdale as a player, making over 100 appearances and scoring five goals.
The 40-year-old helped Preston to the Championship Play-Off final in 2005, only to lose out the West Ham United at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
A calm presence in the centre of the park for PNE, O’Neil impressed supporters with his fine passing range and ability, before being forced to retire in 2006, due to a persistent injury.
