Voting for PNE’s ‘Fans’ All-time XI’ left back concludes on Sunday, giving fans just two days to affect the poll.
Competition is tight, heading into the latter stages of our search for the right man in the full back position, with no clear front runner as of yet.
Callum Davidson and Ryan Kidd look like favourites at this moment in time, though neither has managed to pull away from the chasing pack, with just a few votes separating the leading four candidates.
Davidson made 181 appearances for North End in a seven year stint with the Club between 2004 and 2011 – asserting himself as a firm fans’ favourite at Deepdale.
Kidd, meanwhile, joined Preston in July 1992 and went onto play over 300 games for the Lilywhites, before retiring from the professional game in 2001.
Other leading candidates include current Sheffield United veteran Matthew Hill, who enjoyed a fruitful three years at the Club having moved from Bristol City in 2005, while current PNE left back Scott Laird remains on the peripherals but still in with a shout.
