PNE are recruiting for their Futsal Scholarships programme and you could be the next big star
Played on a hard indoor surface, futsal helped players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Xavi hone their skills and now you can get involved on our scholarship programme.
A five-a-side game, futsal is the fastest growing form of football in England after being developed in South America and it is becoming increasingly more popular all over Europe.
Our programme is based around ten hours of academic, as well as practical study and you will have a minimum of five hours game related coaching along with strength and conditioning training.
All this in preparation for matches played on Wednesday’s.
Entry requirements for the scholarship are that you must be aged 16-17 and have four GCSE’s or equivalent at C grade or above (including maths and English).
The course will last for two years.

• Opportunities to play futsal at the highest level with full-time professional and international honours available, or play at university level as the academic qualifications can send you to university
• Represent Preston North End FC and play against the likes of Manchester City, Everton, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and derbies against Burnley and Blackpool, plus other clubs around the country in the national cup – winners will qualify for Europe and play in a European Cup.

• The programme will also qualify you as a Futsal Level 1 coach and a futsal referee.
