With International friendlies on the horizon and an action filled French Open already underway, PNE.Com takes a look at some of the best odds in the coming weeks.

England take on Brazil in what will be one of the toughest tests of Roy Hodgson’s reign so far, as the Three Lions prepare to invade Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana Stadium.

But before that, there’s the small matter of the Republic of Ireland’s visit to Wembley on Wednesday 29th in what will, no doubt, be a feisty affair.

England are 1/2 to topple Giovanni Trapattoni’s men, while Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is 4/1 to be the first goal scorer.

Or, if your hunch tells you the away side might spring a surprise victory, Republic of Ireland are 17/1 to snatch a 1-0 win.

Following the senior squad’s games, the U21 European Championships kick off next week with England squaring up to Italy in their opening encounter on 5th June.

The Young Lions are 6/4 to win the curtain raiser with Devis Mangia’s side at the same price.

Meanwhile on Thursday 30th May, at Roland Garros, Roberto Bautista Agut will face Jeremy Chardy for a place in the French Open third round.

The Spaniard is 13/8 to progress, while Chardy is the 8/15 favourite after his victory over Benjamin Becker in the opening stage.
