Preston North End will face Lancashire rivals Blackburn Rovers in a pre-season friendly.
The pair will meet on Tuesday, 23rd July with a 7.45pm kick-off and this is currently scheduled to be PNE’s one and only home match before the 2013/14 season gets underway.
This is the fifth pre-season fixture confirmed by the Club to date.
Simon Grayson’s men will play two games in two night against Chorley and Bamber Bridge on the 16th and 17th of July respectively, before heading to the Fylde coast to face Graham Alexander’s Fleetwood Town for Nathan Pond’s testimonial on the 20th of the month.
The clash with Rovers will then be followed by a trip to Spotland on the 27th July, with the League One season commencing the following Saturday.
Tickets for this match are priced at £10 for adults, while Ambassadors can enjoy the action for £7.50 and U16s will pay only £1.
