Penultimate Betting Preview

15 May 2013

The League One Play-Off Final along with the last Premier League fixtures take place this weekend.

The regular Football League season may be over but whatever you bet on at, your club's Bet Butler site gives you the best odds from more than 60 bookmakers and every bet you place there benefits North End!

The npower Play-Offs head to Wembley this weekend and Sunday’s showpiece pits Brentford into action against Yeovil Town for a place in the Championship.

The third-place finishers are 5/4 favourites to do the job inside 90 minutes, while Town are 23/10 underdogs in the same market, despite having done the double over their opponents in the regular season.

A repeat of their 3-1 (28/1) or 3-0 (40/1) scorelines would return a pretty penny.

In npower League 2, the betting is tighter still with Bradford City given the nod by the bookies as 11/8 favourites.

If Northampton can upset the odds without the need for extra time, you’ll get 2/1 on your cash, with Adebayo Akinfenwa 6/1 to open the scoring.

Elsewhere it’s the final week of the Premier League season with north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur fighting it out for a Champions League spot.

Arsenal (8/13) travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United (5/1) knowing that a win guarantees them at least fourth spot, while Spurs (1/3) can do nothing but win against Sunderland (10/1) and pray that the Black Cats’ biggest rivals do them a favour.

In-play betting is now live at and just like pre-match, every bet you place there benefits North End.
