PNE Sign Deal To Wear Nike

21 May 2013

Preston North End are delighted to confirm they have signed a deal with the Just Sport Group to supply Nike playing and training wear from the coming season.

The Club has agreed a three-year deal to have the world’s biggest sportswear manufacturer make all kit, including three brand new strips for the 2013/14 season.

The new home shirt is set to be launched in mid-June, with the away strip to follow a month later and there will also be a third kit, with its launch date set to be confirmed.

Speaking about the new partnership, manager Simon Grayson said: “I am delighted that the Club has managed to secure a deal for my first full season in charge that means we will be wearing the World’s number one sportswear brand, Nike.

“The deal reinforces the reasons that I joined a club the size of Preston North End and adds to the excitement and anticipation that we all share for the season ahead.”

Michael Heslop sales director of Just Sport Group added: “We at Just Sport Group and Nike are delighted to have signed a deal with Preston North End and look forward to supplying the Club and its supporters with an exciting range of kits, training and leisurewear over the next three seasons.

“Preston North End are a Club with a great tradition in English football and it is a pleasure to welcome them into the Nike family in what will hopefully be a long and successful partnership.”

As part of the partnership the ticket and retail store at Deepdale will undergo a refit. The store will close on Friday 7th June and reopen on Friday 21st June with the launch of the new home kit.

In the intervening period, season tickets and tickets for the pre-season home game with Blackburn Rovers, will be sold via the Sir Tom Finney Stand ticket office.

Ambassadors’ discount at the Club shop will continue to be a benefit of retaining your Ambassador status once the refit has taken place, whilst any gift vouchers are still redeemable.
