Chris Beardsley has agreed to extend his loan move at Bristol Rovers until 5th January 2014.
The striker has impressed since moving to the Memorial Stadium, scoring twice in four appearances.
And that purple patch of form has led to John Ward asking for the PNE No.29 to remain with the Gas over the festive period.
Beardsley arrived at Deepdale in August 2012 from Stevenage and has made 22 appearances for the Lilywhites to date.
